Le Marin is a city in the south of Martinique, located on a remarkable Caribbean bay. The town’s marina is the largest on the flower island. It has more than 850 berths for 100 mooring buoys. Le Marin is one of the oldest communes of Martinique (created in 1664 under the name “cul-de-sace de Saint-étienne du Marin”.

The marina of Le Marin is indisputably the main attraction of the commune. Prestigious sailing boats are anchored there all year round. Attendance is increased in August during the festival organized by the town whose theme varies each year.

It is one of the only cities to be located on both the Atlantic and Caribbean coasts.
